Four Animal Complaints, Three Domestic Disputes with One Arrest in June 15 to June 17 Blotter

Friday, June 15

Trespassing: A man was taken into custody at 10:29 a.m. for criminal trespassing after a trespass order was violated at a location on Initial Place.

Animal Complaint: Police responded to a report that a large aggressive dog might have insured another dog at a residence on the 2300 block of Kibler Avenue at 8:47 a.m. Though the aggressive dog bit at the officer through the fence, the other dog didn't look injured. Animal Control would send an officer to investigate. The owner said the dogs would be separated while he's out at work.

Two pit bull-type dogs were seen running loose in the area of Cole Street at Chinook Avenue at 11:01 a.m. A homeowner was containing them until Animal Control arrived as they didn't belong at the residence where they were found.

A dog in the Charwila Lane neighborhood is reportedly biting at children when it can get out of its apartment. The reporting party told police at 12:44 p.m. their children had been bit before and another neighborhood child was bit again. The owner was advised to keep the animal inside or on a leash and Animal Control was also notified.

Assault: An assault was reported at Enumclaw High School at 12:38 p.m. in which one person was taken into custody for fourth-degree assault and second-degree criminal trespass.

Speeders Beware: Extra patrol has been requested for the 110 block of Florence Street due to ongoing speeding problems.

Suspicious People: Three teenaged boys were seen possibly prowling vehicles on Garland Place at 11:19 p.m. Police found two of them and directed them to leave the area.

Saturday, June 16

Noise: Police responded to a noise complaint at 12:12 a.m. at a residence on Rainier Avenue having a loud party. The homeowner was directed to keep everyone inside and keep the noise down.

Squatting: Police received a second hand report of a residential burglary on Harmony Lane at 11:17 a.m. The responding officer found the exterior was secure and a witness said three teenaged boys were seeing leaving on foot. They appeared to have slept in the garage and exited through the garage window.

Animal Complaint: An officer responded to a residence on Semanski Street at 3:21 p.m. for a dog bite; the victim was OK. The apartment manager and pet owner were advised to contact King County Animal Control.

Wallet Found: A wallet was turned in to police after being found on Roosevelt Avenue at 8:43 p.m. It's in police storage and a message was left with the named owner.

Sunday, June 17

Domestic Disturbance: Police and Sheriff's Office deputies both witnessed a verbal domestic dispute on Myrtle Avenue at Cole Street at 1:26 p.m. The situation was handled and everyone got back in the car and left together.

Police responded to a domestic problem in progress on Randall Place at 5:35 p.m. A man involved was arrested for fourth-degree assault domestic violence and interferring with police reporting.

Police responded to a domestic verbal dispute at a home on Harding Street at 7:37 p.m. The female involved left for the night and the matter was settled.
