Frugal Family: Earth Day, Easter and Mommy Time

This marks the second week of the Sumner Animal Grub's 37th birthday celebration. This is the biggest sale of the year for this locally-owned shop, with deals on everything from boots, equestrian and pet supplies to all you'll need for your garden this spring. There is a new Winco opening in Tacoma, but shoppers in our neck of the woods are getting savings to celebrate and just in time for your Easter Sunday dinner shopping. Residents received fliers with coupons in the mail this week with deals on just about everything, including shrimp for $3.48/pound, talapia fillets for only $2.48/pound and navel oranges for only $0.18/pound. On Saturday, April 23, Lowe's will be giving away one million trees nationwide in honor of Earth Day. The early bird gets the worm for this spring event, because once they reach 1 million, the deal's up!  With nearby locations in Bonney Lake, Auburn, and the new Puyallup store, all Patch readers should be able to get one.
