- Where/When: Downtown Enumclaw from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
- Why Go: This weekend is supposed to be a hot one, so get out of the house and stop by the Enumclaw Street Fair for a little fun in the sun. Check out the full carnival complete with rides, games and plenty of fair food. Or, if the carnival scene isn't your thing, enjoy the live entertainment being offered on two separate stages throughout both days. Other activities include a 5K Run/Walk and the Enumclaw "Idol" Contest. There will also be more than 100 vendor booths to browse and shop from. Make sure to stop by our Patch booth and say hi!
- Cost: Admission and parking is free; take advantage of the and park at the . Buy your carnival ticket booklets in advance for $18 and all-day wristbands for $20. Or, buy them at the event for $22 and $25.

- Where/When:Â Throughout Buckley from 9Â a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
- Why Go: If you love garage-sale shopping, you're in for a treat. This weekend, 34 Buckley residents and businesses will, for the most part, turn the entire city into one big garage sale. Just follow signs off Highway 410 and watch for the arrows. Check our event listing for specific addresses of participating residents and businesses. Happy hunting!
- Cost: Free.

- Where/When: At  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
- Why Go: While you're at the Enumclaw Street Fair this weekend, be sure to swing by Del's for some dogs and other tasty treats. In doing so, you'll also be doing your part to help support the Jr. Hornets football squad.
- Cost: Admission is free.

- Where/When: Allan Yorke Park at 10 a.m. (Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m.) on Saturday.
- Why Go: Live healthy by participating in this 5K Fun Run at Allan Yorke Park. Afterward, be sure to check out the vendor booths, free health and vision screenings, demonstrations, guest speakers, the fire-safety trailer and more at the Healthy Living Expo.
- Cost: Admission into the expo is free. There is a $20 registration fee for the Fun Run.

- Where/When: At Ed and Myrna Hume's Educational Children's Seed Garden in Puyallup from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
- Why Go: Artists looking for something new should check out this garden event in Puyallup. Start by taking a tour of the beautiful garden with Ed Hume. Afterward, claim your spot and paint away. This is also a great opportunity to meet other artists.Â
- Cost: $5 suggested donation at the door. Parking could be tight, so carpooling is encouraged. Artists should supply their own small tables and chairs.

- Where/When: Meridian Habitat Park in Puyallup's South Hill at 7 p.m. Friday.
- Why Go: Come and enjoy this family friendly movie under the stars on the jumbo outdoor screen. Haven't seen the film? This trailer should give you an idea of what you're in for.
- Cost: Admission is free.
