- Where/When: 4-11 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Saturday at the Enumclaw Expo Center.
- Why Go: Pull out those lederhosen and steins for the 3rd annual Enumclaw Oktoberfest. Don’t miss this community celebration of the Bavarian culture. Grab an authentic wurst, and enjoy the live entertainment including Bavarian dancers, singers and of course… lots of beer.
- Cost: $15

- Where/When: 9:30 a.m. Sat, Oct 1 at .
- Why Go: The Pumpkin Classic is a 3 mile obstacle course race that will be run in flights starting at 10am. Each flight will contain 100 runners. Preceeding the adult race will be a non timed 1 mile race for kids starting at 9:30am. Each runner will get a shirt and if you are over 21 you will also receive a ticket into the Octoberfest Beer Garden.
- Cost: Registration ranges between $25 and $50.
- Where/When: 3-7 p.m. Sat, Oct 1 in downtown Sumner.
- Why Go: Join downtown Sumner for the 10th annual Autumn Evening in Sumner. Downtown shops will be open late for your shopping convenience and enjoyment. Stroll the street, lined with fall decorations and filled with live music. Scarecrows dance every half hour between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Cost: Free.
- Where/When: 1 p.m. Sat, Oct 1 at the Powerhouse in Sumner.
- Why Go: The White River Project, including Lake Tapps and the Powerplant, turns 100 years old this year. Come join the free community celebration by touring the Powerhouse, learning about the history of the White River Project, including Lake Tapps and the Powerhouse. Other activities will include live old time music by the band "1928", fun activities for kids, free picnic food, and Centennial birthday cake for all.
- Cost: Free.
- Where/When: 8 p.m. Sat, Oct 1 at Cole Street and Initial Avenue.
- Why Go: Come down to Cole Street and Initial Avenue this Saturday, and be a part of a tree lighting ceremony in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In the event of inclement weather, the gathering will move to the gazebo at Rotary Park -- one block to the east of the event.
