The Green River Community College satellite campus in Enumclaw is open again, after being closed for the summer because of budget cuts.
Campus director Diane Anderson said staff has been busy since it’s been back, adding about 100 students normally take classes in the summer, compared with 420 for other quarters.
Classes for fall begin Sept. 19, and registration is under way.

Credit classes offered locally this fall include subjects such as: GED preparation, Spanish, psychology, algebra, English, public speaking, writing, business computers and ecology.
Non-credit classes include: social media marketing, barista training, flagger training, Facebook 101, how to start a business, computers for beginners, knitting basics, rumba dancing, Chinese cooking, first aid, floral design, selling on eBay, beginning guitar and fly fishing.

Most of the classes meet either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. Most of the classes start from 4 to 7 p.m. and last 2:20.
