Great Escape: Let's Eat

The couple that eats together, stays together, right?

Maybe not, but at least it will give you time to talk and save you some time in the kitchen - from cooking and cleaning.  You can escape the monotony of those chores.

With summer finally here, patios are full and diners are spilling out of doorways to sit under umbrellas.  Now is a great time to hone your restaurant knowledge.  Hop Jacks and the new Midtown Grill both offer outdoor tables.

Consider checking out a new city restaurant and maybe commit to only ordering something you've never tried before.  Or only order off the appetizer menu to get a good idea of a variety of culinary treats.  Or, if you're calorically daring, maybe only order off the dessert menu.

We here in the Northwest are absolutely blessed with some great food establishments - so get out there and try some.  The names of some of the newer restaurants are enough to peak my curiousity: The Walrus and the Carpenter?  Perhaps, Book Bindery?  Or maybe you're in a place to eat some Crow?
