Illegal Fireworks Confiscated, Dirtbike DUI and No Public Use of Enumclaw Stadium in July 3 to July 4 Blotter

Tuesday, July 3

Suspicious Party: Police received a report at 2:04 a.m. that there was a vehicle full of people who appeared to be having a party on the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue. One person was arrested on a warrant from Kent police whil the others were released.

Found Person: Police responded to three locations in the city before locating a woman's missing mother at an address on Chinook Avenue at 4:54 a.m.

Bike Stolen: Police received a report at 3:45 p.m. that a red mongoose BMX style bike was stolen from a location on Griffin Avenue. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between April and the date the report was made.

Property Damage: Three juveniles were arrested outside Rite Aid at 5:56 p.m. after they reportedly damaged a sprinkler head on the building.

Trespassing: Three juveniles were issued trespass notices after police responded to the Elk Meadows property and playground area at 7:03 p.m.

Not Public Property: Police made contact with a group of adults playing soccer at Enumclaw Stadium at 8:11 p.m. and informed them it was private property so they needed to leave.

Fireworks Complaints: A group was reportedly setting off fireworks toward the road at the Veranda Apartments on the 200 block of Semanski Street at 9:27 p.m. They were gone upon police arrival.

Police received a complaint of loud fireworks in the area of the 700 block of Natalie Place at 9:49 p.m. Debris was found but no subjects were there when police arrived.

Runaway Report: Police received a report from Stanwood police at 10:37 p.m. that a 14-year-old while male, about 6 feet tall with a slim build was reported as a runaway juvenile and may be with a group of youths in downtown Enumclaw.

Wednesday, July 4

DUI: One person on a dirtbike was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on the 3100 block of Division Street at 12:48 a.m. after they were seen driving through a residence's front yard on the 1400 block of McHugh Avenue earlier in the night.

Citizen Assist: Police observed a drunk woman on the 1600 block of Cole Street at 3:30 a.m. and provided a ride home for her.

Missing Person: Police took a missing person's report associated with an address on Wynalda Drive at 8:26 a.m.

Fireworks Complaints: Police received a report of illegal fireworks found at a location on the 900 block of Martin Way at 4:13 p.m.

Police confiscated firecrackers and bottle rockets from a location on the 2400 block of A Court at 4:17 p.m.

Police confiscated at sparkler bomb from a juvenile on the 200 block of Charwila Lane at 4:24 p.m.

Police confiscated bottle rockets from a location on the 300 block of Warwick Street at 5:27 p.m.

Police confiscated bottle rockets from a location on the 2300 block of McHugh Avenue at 6:09 p.m.

Police confiscated bottle rockets from a location on the 1500 block of Lafromboise Street at 6:19 p.m.

Police confiscated bottle rockets from a location on the 200 block of Semanski Street at 6:42 p.m.

Police confiscated illegal fireworks from a location on the 2600 block of Laukala Place at 6:47 p.m.

Police confiscated bottle rockets from a location on the 3000 block of Wynalda Drive at 6:58 p.m.

Police confiscated illegal fireworks from a location on the 3300 block of Wetherbee Lane at 7:05 p.m.

Police confiscated bottle rockets from a location on the 200 block of Douglas Fir Drive at 7:31 p.m.

Police confiscated bottle rockets from a location on the 2600 block of Laukala Place at 8:04 p.m. after receiving a complaint.

Lantern Fire: Police responded to a location on the 3300 block of Phillips Avenue at 10:35 p.m. for a reported house fire. It was actually a paper lantern that had caught on fire.
