Department News:
The deadline for applications for the spring volunteer firefighter academy are due on Friday. We have less applicants than anticipated which may result in a smaller academy.
The burn ban has been lifted for most of our district. The EPA still has a burn ban for some tribal lands including Muckleshoot.

We have reduced our office hours to 9:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday due to limited staff. We will probably reduce our office more in the near future. This may impact people that need to do business with the department, such as acquiring a burn permit, but we still have emergency personnel 24/7.
