Monday, May 7

DUI: A man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Laukala Place at 12:03 a.m.

Civil Dispute: Police responded to a roommate dispute at an apartment on Chinook Avenue at 12:58 a.m.

Lost Dog: A black shar pei reportedly ran from a residence on Lincoln Avenue at 1:50 a.m. It needs medication for an ear infection and may not want to be approached by strangers. The dog has a micro chip and King County license tags.

Suspicious Circumstances: Police responded to a report of drug paraphernalia found at an apartment on Chinook Avenue at 10:51 a.m. The responding officer confiscated two prescription bottles.

Gas Pump Damage: A customer at a gas station on Griffin Avenue reportedly tried to drive away with the nozzle still attached at 12:35 p.m. The nozzle then detached but the driver drove off after being confronted by an employee to pay for damages. The responding officer advised the employee on how to handle this civil issue.

Juveniles: Police received a report at 5:02 p.m. that a restroom at a business on Roosevelt Avenue was egged. The mess was cleaned up and there are no suspects.

Attempted Shoplifting: Police were unable to locate a suspect vehicle connected to a failed shoplifting attempt at a business on Roosevelt Avenue at 6:56 p.m.

Fight: Police responded to a report of two men fighting at a location on S.E. 448th Street at 7:41 p.m. The dispute was settled.

Sunday, April 29

Disturbance: Police received a report at 2:16 a.m. of subjects banging on the door of an apartment on Watson Street North. The resident of the apartment said it was her brother and she wasn't going to let him in. They were gone upon police arrival.

Shoplifting: Police received a report at 7:52 a.m. that a nine-year-old boy wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans, accompanied by another boy about the same age, stole a pack of gum from a store on Griffin Avenue and left.

Theft: A patio table was reported stolen at 3:51 p.m. from a property on Warner Avenue.

Arrest: One person was arrested for physical control at 8:09 p.m. on Warner Avenue as police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area.
