Man Arrested for Assault, Juvenile Reported Missing and Possible Illegal Poaching in Sept. 30 Blotter

Assault Arrest: One person was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault after police responded to a business on the 800 block of Griffin Avenue at 12:09 a.m. for a fight in progress.

Missing Juvenile: Police received a report of a missing juvenile at 12:13 p.m. who was last seen about 14 hours prior. He was described as a 16-year-old white male, slim build, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 pounds with glasses, wearing black pants and a shirt.

Illegal Poaching: An officer assisted a state game officer in removing evidence from Hancock Property at 1:10 p.m. for investigation into possible illegal poaching.

Fire: Police received a report of a vehicle fire on State Route 410 inside Mount Rainier National Park at milepost 62 at 8:58 p.m. Greenwater Fire responded to the scene to extinguish.

Traffic Arrest: Police arrested one person after they were initially pulled over in a traffic stop on the 300 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 7:39 p.m. for third-degree driving while license suspended. The subject fled on foot but was located later at home and booked.
