Man Arrested for Domestic Violence Assault in August 12 Blotter

Traffic Arrest: A driver was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on the 700 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 1:43 a.m.

Hit and Run: Police were investigating an accident that occurred overnight on the 1000 block of Florence Street in which the suspect vehicle damaged some landscaping and a street sign. Citations would be sent out via mail.

Aggressive Dog: Police received a report at 2:57 p.m. that an aggressive dog on Pine Cone Avenue at Willow Drive nearly bit an adult though it was restrained when officers responded. The owner agreed to get a kennel to keep the dog contained.

Domestic Disturbance: A man was taken into custody for fourth-degree domestic violence assault after police responded to a physical domestic incident at a residence on the 1100 block of Griffin Avenue at 10:21 p.m.
