Minor in Possession and City Tree Damaged in June 4 and June 6 Blotter

Monday, June 4
Property Damage: Police received a report at 8:16 a.m. of several acts of vandalism on a property on Chinook Avenue. The responding officer found several residences in the area had flowers taken off bushes and strewn nearby -- most leading to the apartment complex in the area. Extra patrol requested.
Wallet Found: A citizen turned in an ID holder at 12:05 p.m. containing a state license and two miscellaneous cards which was found in the area of S.E. 436th Street and 212th Avenue S.E. near State Route 164. Police have the item in storage and were preparing a letter as a phone number could not be found for the owner.

Wednesday, June 6

Fight: Police responded to a reported fight on Watson Street North at 1:49 a.m. All parties declined to press charges.
Property Damage: A tree was reported damaged, removed and left in the middle of the road on Riggs Drive East at 9:20 a.m. It was moved to the side of the road before city shops was able to confirm it was a city property; estimated cost of replacement is about $200.
Minor in Possession: A juvenile was taken into custody at Enumclaw High School at 1:13 p.m. for an alcohol offense.
DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI after police received a report of a possible DUI at 3:43 p.m. and made a traffic stop on Cole Street at Stevenson Avenue.
Rock Throwing: Police received a report at 10:54 p.m. that a group of juveniles were throwing rocks in the parking lot of Chinook Park on Chinook Avenue. They were asked to leave.
