More than Thirty Artists and Artisans Await Your Arrival at Art in the Garden 2012

The two-day event happening this weekend takes place at the Matson Family Farm Gardens.

Warning: annual showcase of local artists and crafters this weekend - better known as - could cause sensory overload.

Between the colorful paintings, drawings and photographs; the assorted crafts of textiles, metals, glass, pottery and even pine needles; and the breath-taking vistas of Mount Rainier set against the array of aromatic rainbow flora on the Matson Family Gardens run solely by Cathy Matson, you might just want to take a minute to still yourself and soak in all the beauty.

Meanwhile, your ears are entranced by the sounds of local musicians serenading you as you peruse the many booths or strolling through the gardens themselves. Local musician took the stage during a preview Friday and we captured parts of her version of The Beatles' "Let it Be" in the slideshow on the right.
