A few highlights to check out the next time you're downtown running errands.

There's plenty going on in downtown Enumclaw in the next few weeks -- here are a couple of highlights you'll want to keep an eye out for during your next errand in town.Β
When/Where: Sunday, March 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Key Bank.
What is it:Β Football players need to be between the ages of 7 and 14 and cheerleaders need to be between the ages of 7 and 15. Youth are divided by age and weight and play teams from Pierce and King County in the same division. Full pads and uniforms are provided under strict safety regulations - no uniform costs! When/Where: Monday, March 7 beginning at 4:30 p.m., from the Post Office to the Chamber of Commerce
What is it: The Enumclaw High School wrestling team for the third time in the last four years. Come celebrate our local athletes! A short program will commence at the parking lot adjacent to the Chamber of Commerce that features the cheer team, comments from Coach Lee Reichert and the introduction of team members.

When/Where: , through Easter
What is it: Owner John Locatelli has set up an interactive animatronic window display featuring Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit in their home. Just press your hand to the window and watch it move! It's a great diversion for kids who were taken downtown to run errands with mom, likely against their will, Locatelli joked.Β
Bonus: OK, this isn't technically downtown, but the Evergreen Rabbit Breeders Association is holding a show this weekend at the Expo Center. If you're looking to see more of these long-eared furry friends, here's your chance!
Kevin Merchant Bird Photography at City HallWhen/Where: Through March, at City Hall during open hours
What is it: Redmond-based artist Kevin Merchant shows his skill behind the camera in capturing these incredibly detailed and up-close shots of a wide variety of birds commonly seen in Washington state, in their natural habitats. This is part of City Hall's Gallery 2011 project where Merchant is the featured March artist. Come take a look.
The Sequel Used BooksWhen/Where: 1634 Railroad Street, Regular store hours
What is it: The Sequel in early February and features a huge collection of historical, westerns and other specialized genres. Owner Susan Lissy spent three months renovating the facility, which now features an espresso bar! Next time you're caught in the rain, step inside and find something to take you to another world.
