A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Monday, April 11 and Tuesday, April 12.

Monday, April 11

Burglary: A burglary was reported at a property on Garrett Street at 8:42 a.m.

Neighbors on Alert: A man with a gray hoody and backpack was seen trying to kick down a door at a property on Wells Street at 6:09 p.m. Police made contact and found the man was the homeowner.

Police received a report of a suspicious person at a house on Wells Street at 7:38 p.m., described as a white male with a gray jacket, sideways baseball cap and blue jeans who was knocking on the door and looking into the windows. The reporting party also noted suspicious activity at a blue house three doors west of this house with excessive vehicle and foot traffic. Officers found no unusual activity upon arrival.

Unwanted Person: Police received a request to remove unwanted subjects from his home on Wells Street at 8:49 p.m. Officers provided a courtesy transport to one subject. A shotgun found at the house was taken by police for safekeeping.Β

Tuesday, April 12

Domestic Dispute: A brother and sister both arrived at the police station at 8:21 a.m. following a domestic dispute report that the brother assaulted the sister. After contact was made, it was found no assault occured. The sister was arrested on a warrant out of Federal Way related to failure to appear for a forgery charge.Β 

Abandoned House: Police made contact with a person seen messing around an abandoned house on Myrtine Street at 10:31 a.m. They were sent on their way while the officer took information on the home and will be forwarding findings to city code enforcement.

Grenade Found: A women turned in a grenade to police at 3:18 p.m. after finding it in her father's possessions. Police turned it over to the bomb squad.

Noisy Neighbors: Police received a complaint of excessively loud music at Field No. 2 of Southwood Elementary at 6:42 p.m. An officer made contact and the subjects agreed to turn it down.

Runaway Juvenile Located: A runaway subjected was located by police on Roosevelt Avenue at 6:45 p.m. and released to her grandfather.

Bike Theft: A citizen reported their son's bicycle was stolen overnight from a property on Watson Street North. The bike was reported found stripped at 6:49 p.m. There is a witness who identified the person who sold the bike to him.

Residential Burglary: A woman reportedly returned to her home on Noble Fir Circle at 7:16 p.m. to find her laptop was missing after she took a trip to the store. The home was unlocked and there are no suspects.

A resident on Sun Mountain Drive reported they came home at 7:42 p.m. to find a window had been opened and multiple cupboards left open. Nothing was missing or damaged.
