Tuesday, April 26

Drug Offense: A traffic stop on Griffin Avenue at Fell Street at 12:48 a.m. resulted in one person being arrested for possession of marijuana/paraphernalia.Β 

Neighbors on Alert: A resident at Rainier View Apartments on Watson Street North reported to the assistant manager that someone in a white Ford Expedition -- unknown plates -- was sitting and watching the playground area of the complex at about 9 p.m. the night before. Extra patrol was requested from police.

Police responded to a report of a possible DUI in the area of McHugh Avenue at S.E. 433rd Street at 7:29 p.m. A witness reported the driver of a maroon/grey older model sedan was all over the roadway, driving through two stop signs and traveling on the wrong side of the road. The driver reportedly stopped and agreed to cease driving only to take off again. Police forwarded information to State Patrol and the Sheriff's Office. An Enumclaw officer checked the driver's residence but the vehicle was not there.

Juvenile Assault: Police responded to a report of a fight between juveniles at 2:38 p.m. on Warner Avenue at Semanski Street. Though officers were initially unable to locate the suspect, they found the victim had been punched in the face and had a visible red mark. At 3:46 p.m., the suspect went to police and was interviewed. They were cited and released for fourth-degree assault and then released to a parent.

Suspicious Circumstances: A homeowner who was gone for the weekend found evidence that someone was in their home on LaFramboise Street without permission. They reported at 4:18 p.m. that several items were moved around and some cash as well as part of a video system were missing. There were no signs of forced entry and no suspect information at this time.

Wednesday, April 27

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident on Semanski Street reported at 5:58 a.m. that she had parked her vehicle in front of her building the night before but came out in the morning to find it had been moved across the parking lot with a neighbor's vehicle parked where hers had been. An officer made contact but couldn't determine why the vehicle was moved; it was not locked and was possible it was an attempted theft that was later interrupted. There were no damages and nothing taken from the vehicle.

Hit and Run: A hit and run was reported on Pioneer Street at 9:07 a.m. The suspect vehicle fled but a witness was on scene and followed the suspect to gather description. The witness returned to the scene and advised the victim of suspect information. There are no suspects at this time.

Vehicle Keys: Keys for an older model white Chevy Blazer that had been parked on Wells Street at 3:08 p.m. remain with police after they were taken for safekeeping and a note left on the windshiefl. The vehicle was reportedly gone by 7:28 p.m. but the keys remain.Β 

Burglary: A burglary was reported at a residence on Wells Street at 3:55 p.m. There are no suspects at this time.
