Police Blotter for Aug. 22

Rash of windows being broken taking place in Enumclaw.


The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw Police
Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sparkler bomb breaks window: Pieces of a sparkler bomb were taken to the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab to search for latent prints. It was previously reported that a broken window was discovered by an employee on McDougall Avenue. The officer
had since discovered the damage was caused by the sparkler bomb.

Beer breaks window: Back window of an extended cab truck broken while parked in lot on Semanski Street South.  A Michelob Ultra Lite beer bottle was found inside the truck.

Extinguisher breaks window: Vehicle windshield broken on Garfield Street, causing about $550 damage. Beer bottles found nearby. Similar to an incident on Semanski Street. Except here windshield possibly broken by fire extinguisher as red paint is found on glass, along with extinguisher handle.

Another window broken: Driver’s side window broken in Park Street. Rocks found on ground nearby.

ATV stolen: Theft of a Yamaha ATV was reported from the back of a truck parked on Davis Avenue.

4 warrants: Man at 1705 Wells St. turned himself in on four warrants.
Bail total is $100,000, or $10,000 cash.

Purple paint: Extra patrol requested after daughter’s truck on Lois Lane was covered with purple paint and derogatory comments.

Gas stolen: Someone entered a garage on Pioneer Street and stole three red plastic gas containers; each olds 2.5 gallons.

Gas siphoned: Extra patrol requested after gas siphoned from delivery vehicle parked in city lot next to business on Stevenson Avenue.

Bikes taken, found: Theft of four bikes on Garfield Street. One is a silver Cannondale with gray wheels, but one is bent. Another is a girls purple Mongoose. Other two are unknown makes and models but one is green. Later, bicycles found on Pioneer Street.

Backpack stolen: Backpack stolen from vehicle parked in lot on Roosevelt Avenue. Backpack is gray/black with hip straps. Inside was a phone charging cable, drill, water pump pliers and paperwork. Miller Lite vest with keys inside also stolen.

Smoking green stuff: Juveniles reportedly smoking green vegetable matter in agreen Ford Explorer on Wilson Avenue.
