Police Blotter for Aug. 31

Meth arrest; items found; hit and run among the calls.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Meth arrest: A disturbance on Leos Place resulted in an arrest and booking into Enumclaw jail for possession of methamphetamines. Another was arrested for a warrant out of Buckley.

Graffiti in chalk: Gang-type graffiti drawn in chalk on roadway at Kibler Avenue and Carbon Ridge Street.

Needles destroyed: Several needles found on Cole Street at Roosevelt Avenue. Officer picked them up for destruction.

Assault reported: Victim says he was assaulted behind apartment complex at Watson Avenue North. He apparently had been trespassing.

Banging benches: Male near library on 1700 First Street reportedly yelling, banging benches and chairs. He told officers he was just waiting for friends for a ride.

Vehicle hit: A hit and run occurred to a vehicle on Monroe Avenue.

Bike found: Green bike found next to Ellensen Park at Battersby Avenue and Farman Street. Taken to police bike shed.

Phone discovered: Cell phone found on Washington Avenue and Porter Street.
