Tuesday, December 6

Barking Dog: A barking dog complaint connected to a residence on Lafromboise Street has been resolved as the dog's owners reported to police that it had a new home in Buckley.

Suspicious Circumstances: A 12-year-old girl was reportedly receiving suspicious text messages from an unknown subject who appeared to be watching her and several friends. The complaint was made at 1:41 p.m. The girl's parents took away the phone and shut down her Facebook account. There are no suspects.

Possible Theft: Police received a report at 8:55 p.m. that the theft of a flat screen TV, Blu-ray movies, DVDs and a rug shampooer had occurred at a residence on Griffin Avenue. When they arrived to take a report, the reporting party declined to provide more information.

Wednesday, December 7

Theft: A male student at EHS was in custody after the theft of $300 from the student store was reported at 1:59 p.m.

Harassment: Police received a report at 6:38 p.m. from a parent that their son was receiving harassing text messages and calls to their residence at Charwila Lane. An officer contacted the other juvenile responsible for sending the texts. Their parents will handle the situation.

Thursday, December 8

Wire Theft: Police received a report at 2:09 p.m. of a theft of copper wiring, HVAC and other components from a location on Farman Street North.

Friday, December 9

Attempted Vehicle Theft: Police received a report at 5:18 a.m. of a white male attempting to break into a white Toyota 4 Runner parked on Griffin Avenue. The suspect vehicle left north on Railroad Street.

Vandalism: A vehicle parked on Lafromboise Street was reportedly egged, covered with syrup and floured two days prior and again overnight.

A vehicle on Natalie Place had reportedly been drawn on overnight. There was no permanent damage as the markings were washing off.

Fight: Police responded to a fight in progress on Garfield Street at Elmont Avenue at 1:40 p.m. All involved fled in two vehicles but plice contacted all parties and the situation was handled. One person will be cited for reckless driving.
