Police Blotter for Feb. 11 to Feb. 13
The weekend prior to Valentine's Day saw numerous domestic disputes reported.

Friday, Feb. 11
Gun Shot Heard: Police responding to a report of a possible gun shot in the area of 284th Avenue S.E. by the Expo Center at 6:55 a.m. found nothing out of the ordinary.
Animal Complaint: Police received a complaint of a barking dog at a residence on Griffin Avenue at 9:35 a.m. They advised the complainant to contact King County Animal Control but could not reach anyone at the residence where the dog was kept.

Suspicious Person: Police received a report of someone hanging around parks and schools and appears to be watching the children. They are associated with a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. Extra patrols have been requested.
Missing Person Found: An officer contacted a parent regarding a missing person from a property on Natalie Place at 5:32 p.m. The person returned home prior to being entered into state and national databases.

Assault/Domestic Violence: Officers responded to a report of a physical domestic altercation at a property on Davis Avenue at 8:08 p.m. The suspect left on foot prior to police arrival; a report was taken.
A man reported his wife had slapped him while driving in the area of Griffin Avenue and Farrelly Street at 8:20 p.m. The woman had left on foot; a report was taken.
An officer responded to a domestic problem at another property on Davis Avenue at 8:30 p.m. A male subject had reportedly been drinking, but police found the dispute was verbal only; the matter was settled on contact.
An officer responded to a possible fight between a man and woman at a parking lot on Griffin Avenue at 7:04 p.m. The fight was verbal only and settled on contact.
A man and woman were reportedly fighting in the parking lot at Chinook Apartments at 7:37 p.m. He was seen hitting and attempting to restrain the woman, who later left with a parent. Both reported the fight was verbal only and they separated for the night. The matter was settled.
Saturday, Feb. 12
Noisy Neighbors: Police received a loud bass complaint from the Crystal Saloon at 12:10 a.m. The officer who checked on the report found the sound-proof shutters were closed though the bass could still be minimally heard at the complainant's location. Police contacted the business and they turned down the music. The matter was settled.
Neighbors on Alert: Police received a report of two men who appeared to be going through a vehicle outside the I building of the Chinook Park Apartments at 1:36 a.m. They were seen leaving in an orange and black Toyota pick up and a red Honda missing a driver's side rear window. An officer who checked on the report did not locate the subjects but the vehicle they were seen in appeared to be fine.
DUI: A traffic stop on Roosevelt Avenue at 2:07 a.m. resulted on one person being arrested for driving under the influence.
Assault/Domestic Violence: A woman was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault/domestic violence following a reported assault on LaFramboise Street at 10:25 a.m.
Police determined a verbal altercation had occurred being a man and his girlfriend on May Court at 1:04 p.m. after they received a 911 hang-up call. Upon follow up, the man seemed confused about what he wanted to report, so an officer made contact.
An officer following up on a reported physical domestic altercation at a location on Melody Lane at 2:20 p.m. found that it was verbal only.
Trashed Room: An employee of a facility on Griffin Avenue reported at 1:49 p.m. that occupants who had already checked out of a room had trashed the room, broken the microwave and damaged the walls.
Jumping into Traffic: A man on foot seeing jumping out into traffic at Porter Street and McHugh Avenue at 7:23 p.m. was located and taken home.
Juvenile Problem: An officer responding to a report of three male juveniles turning over benches on the premises of an apartment complex on Ensen Street at 7:30 p.m. did not locate them. They were last seen headed east on Battersby Avenue.
Bikes Found: Several bicycles found near the Foothills Trail on Cole Street at 7:24 p.m. were left there to see if owners would return to retrieve them.
Sunday, Feb. 13
Pants Switched: An employee at a business on Roosevelt Avenue reported at 1:47 p.m. that they found a pair of used pants mixed in with new ones -- it appears someone switched them. The old pants have a receipt in the pocket that may identify the owner.
Kicking Door: A man was seen attempting to kick in a door at a property on Battersby Avenue at 7:52 p.m. He left prior to police arrival, but the door appeared to be without damage.
