Police Blotter for July 21

Pair of women contend that 6-year-old boy took their cat.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. 

MISSING CAT: Woman reports that two females came to her door and accused her 6-year-old son of taking their cat. Child reportedly found the cat in his backyard and brought it in the house. Kitten is returned to the pair.

NO PLAYING AROUND: Three teenage males are spotted messing with playground equipment.  Police give them a warning.

WEAPON CONFISCATED: Officer assists with gun recovery at a residence.

DOMESTIC DISCORD: Woman leaves her residence in a green Honda after a domestic dispute. Officers determine situation was verbal, not physical.

DISCORD ON WHEELS: Officer contacted over civil dispute dealing with non-payment for cab fare. Victim opts to not prosecute and plans to handle the issue civilly.

SUSPICIOUS SMELL: Officer notices strong odor of marijuana coming from room during a home visit. Tenant gives approval for search and officer finds remnants of the drug.

NO PARKING ALLOWED: Police advise transient woman reportedly carrying bags and looking into vehicles in a parking lot that she cannot continue to stay there in her car.
