Police blotter for June 21

Horse OK after being hit by car on highway

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Horse vs. car: Police and Washington State Patrol responded to a car vs. horse collision on State Route 164 at 196th Avenue Southeast. The horse suffered minor injuries and was returned to its pasture and its owner notified. The motorist was fine.

Forks in lawn: Police responded to a call that Nazi signs were drawn on his ex-wife’s vehicle and multiple plastic forks were stuck into the lawn. Reporting party is concerned it’s a racial slur against his family on Wetherbee Lane.

Throwing woman’s purse: Juveniles hid in bushes at Roosevelt and Semanski Β Street and threw a purse into the road, seeing who would stop to retrieve it. Since it was creating a traffic hazard, police told them to stop.

Customers harassed: Police responded to a call that two girls were trespassing and harassing customers for money outside a business on Roosevelt Avenue.

Stolen items returned: A bag, jewelry and empty pill bottles were found along Laukala Place and Semanski Street. Officers determined they were items stolen in a residential burglary March 11. The items were returned to the victims.
