A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Wednesday, November 9 and Thursday, November 10.

Wednesday, November 9

Loose Horses: Police responded to a report of three large horses on the loose in the area of Warner Avenue at Semanski Street at 8:26 a.m. The responding officer found the horses belonged to a group in the Church of Latter Day Saints parking lot and they had them under control.

Assault: Police responded to a report of an assault at Enumclaw High School at 11:57 a.m. An arrest was made.

Trespassing: Police cited an expelled student for trespassing who was reportedly back on campus looking for a confrontation with another student at 2:38 p.m. (Editor's Note: It's unclear from the police reports whether this was at Enumclaw High School or Enumclaw Middle School.)

Juveniles: Police received a report of three teens in dark clothing playing chicken in the middle of the roadway on S.E. 264th Street at 6:42 p.m. They denied doing so when asked by the responding officer.

Thursday, November 10

Armed Hiker: Police were advised by King County Sheriff's Office at 8:01 a.m. of an armed man seen hiking up the north side of Mount Peak carrying a machine gun in open view. He was not brandishing the weapon or threatening anyone and was described as a white male in his 40s with brown hair wearing shorts with a camo-style backpack. There was a second report indicating he was one of three men who appeared to be together but left the area in three separate vehicles. Police did not locate the individual.

Malicious Mischief: Police responded to a report of several teens who used a BB gun to shoot out a window on a vehicle parked on Chinook Avenue at 2:13 p.m. Parents were en route.

Hit and Run: An accident was reported on Monroe Avenue at 5:37 p.m. The suspect vehicle was last seen entering State Route 410.
