Parking Problem: The owner of a business on James Street at Washington Avenue requested police enforcement of parking violations in the area in an attempt to quell neighborhood animosities. One violator reportedly washes off chalk marks, and a city right-of-way is also an area of concern.
Scoping out Neighborhood: Police received a report of individuals in a green Dodge Dakota walking around a vacant house on the 600 block of Myrtine Street at 11:20 a.m. They told police they were checking out property as a potential purchase.
Shoplifting: A woman was arrested by QFC security for shoplifting. Enumclaw police responded at 2:53 p.m. to the incident and she was booked into the police jail.
