On June 5 at approximately 9:03 p.m. on the 30700 block of 229th Pl. SE, officers were dispatched to a lakefront field for report of unwanted subjects. The reporting party was advising that there were 2-3 “Transients Loitering” in the area just north of the residence. Upon arrival, officers found two subjects that were known to the area and learned that they were on a strip of waterfront property owned by nearby homeowners. Officers did not take any law enforcement action.

On June 5 at 4:21 p.m. on the 30000 block of 232nd Pl. SE, an officer was dispatched to a complaint of subjects hitting golfing balls off of a dock into Lake Sawyer. Upon contact, it was determined that the golfers were using bio-degradable golf balls, and were not hitting the balls towards people or property. No enforcement action taken.

On June 3 at 10:47 a.m. on the 23300 block of SE 289th St., officers were dispatched to a threats incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female who was receiving several text messages throughout the morning from her ex-boyfriend and concerned for her safety. Officers convinced the female to stay elsewhere until her ex-boyfriend could be served with an anti-harassment order.
Covington
On June 23 at 7 a.m. on the 27000 block of 185th Ave. SE, officers were dispatched for a vehicle prowl in progress. A male stated that he heard someone open a side toolbox on his vehicle. When he ran around to the side he observed a male suspect taking items out of the box. The male grabbed the suspect who had attempted to jump into a suspect vehicle; however, the male was unable to hold on. As the suspect drove off, he glanced off the male’s vehicle. Two 100 foot welding cables were stolen.

On June 20 at 11:12 p.m. on the 17400 block of SE 270th Pl., while conducting routine patrol in a business area, a male cut a corner with his vehicle and rolled through a stop sign before colliding with a patrol vehicle. The male was cited for Failing to Yield from a private driveway.

On June 20 at 3 p.m. on the 19400 block of SE 261st St., deputies were dispatched to reports of a male displaying a gun at a neighbor. Upon arrival, a male, with a firearm on his hip, was standing outside with a piece of paper stating it was a Concealed Weapons License. The male stated that a male neighbor was rapidly backing up and nearly struck his vehicle as he was bringing a relative home. According to the male, the neighbor got out of his vehicle and was yelling, cussing, and lifting up his shirt displaying a knife. Fearing for his safety, the male pulled his gun out and told the neighbor to back off before the neighbor got in his vehicle and left the scene. During an investigation, the neighbor denied pulling a knife although he did have a knife as described by the male. Neither male wanted to give a statement.
King County
On June 21 at 8:07 p.m. on the 13600 block of SE 170th St., a female driver was contacted for having different license plates on the front/rear of her vehicle. There was also a dealer paper license taped to a window. The female stated she did not have any ID with her, and then proceeded to give a social security number that was later found to be from another female. When logging into a social media account, a different name came up which she stated was her sister and that the account had been hacked. Prior to the arrival of a mobile fingerprint scanner, the female finally admitted to her proper name. Check of the name revealed she had a suspended license as well as warrant for Driving While License Suspended, 3rd degree. Search of the female revealed her license on her person. The female was booked into King County Jail on her warrant as well as was additionally charged for Refusal to Give Information to or Cooperate with Officer and her vehicle impounded.

On June 20 between 3-8 a.m. on the 25800 block of SE 216th St., someone entered an open/unlocked garage and stole a battery charger along with a box containing some camping supplies.

On June 19 between 9 p.m. and 5:45 a.m. on the 28500 block of SE 258th St., someone entered an open garage while residents were at home and stole a backpack from a vehicle along with a generator. Papers inside of the backpack were found strewn along the roadway.

On June 19 at 8:07 p.m. on the 14400 block of SE Petrovitsky Rd., a customer was being belligerent towards employees and patrons at a restaurant. Upon arrival, the male was walking away from the business. Upon contact, the male, who was inebriated, continued to be confrontational towards deputies. Although he had not paid his tab when he left the restaurant, the manager did not want to press charges, but rather wanted to have the male trespassed instead. After receiving a Trespass Letter, the male was released.

On June 19 between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. of June 20 on the 18200 block of Renton Maple Valley Rd. SE, someone stole an unlocked vehicle with the keys left inside of it. Various tools and parts worth approximately $15,000 contained in the vehicle were also stolen.

On June 19 between 8:45-10:58 a.m. in the area of SE 184th and 148th Ave. SE, while the vehicle was parked at a trailhead, someone broke out a window before breaking into a glove box and stole a wallet contained in the box.
Maple Valley
On June 20 between 9 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. on the 27900 block of 251st Ave. SE, a male resident went outside and noticed his vehicle had been stolen. The male stated that it was the second time his vehicle had been stolen even though there was no past history.

On June 20 at 7 p.m. on the 26600 block of Maple Valley Black Diamond Rd. SE, an intoxicated male was reported as shouting at customers and refusing to leave a business. Upon arrival, the known male complied and left the business. After blowing a preliminary breath test of .334, the male was evaluated and then transported to a local hospital for detox and treatment.

On June 20 between 6:30-10 p.m. on the 27400 block of Witte Rd. SE, officers were dispatched to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, a husband and wife were standing in their front yard with the husband heard yelling at his wife. Seeing the officers, the male walked into the house. Due to a No Contact Order, officers went into the house, but did not find the male. Search of the area revealed the male hiding in a neighbor’s vehicle. The husband was booked into Kent Jail for Violation of a No Contact Order and Interfere with reporting of Domestic Violence.
