Peg divides her Reiki Level 1 class into two separate sessions so that participants have the opportunity to practice self-healing on themselves for at least 21 days prior to participating in giving a Reiki Treatment. In this way participants are more familiar with the process and have an opportunity to explore Reiki more thoroughly.
Reiki is gentle, subtle energy that revives one's own energy, sort of like being plugged into a wall socket.
Reiki compliments and supports all traditional and non-traditional health practices.
On Saturday, June 14, participants will:
- Learn what is Reiki and the history of Reiki
- Learn how Reiki is given and received
- Learn the various level of Reiki
- Learn what how Reiki is passed on to participants
- Learn how to activate one's hand chakras and practice sensing subtle energy
- Learn about the Human Energy Field
- Meditate to prepare for your initiation to Reiki
- Be attuned to Reiki Level 1
- Facilitate in giving a Reiki Treatment
- Receive a Reiki Treatment
- Question and Answer Session
After being attuned to Reiki, participants will be able to:
- Explain what Reiki is and what it does
- Give yourself a Reiki treatment
- Use Reiki for one' own growth and well being
- Participate in giving a Reiki treatment to another participant in the class
