Rotary Names April Students of the Month

The spotlight was on Kelly Plese, Micaela Pribic and Atira Hill at this past week's meeting of the Enumclaw Rotary Club.

The Enumclaw Rotary Club recognized the following students as Students of The Month at its April 20 meeting.

Kelly Plese, daughter of Kim and Mike Plese of Enumclaw, was the recipient from Enumclaw High School. A 3.8 student, Kelly is editor and photographer with the school newspaper and an active member of Key Club. She also is a competitive road cyclist currently ranked 15th in the nation. Kelly plans to attend the University of Washington next fall and work towards a degree in pre-medicine with the hopes of being an orthopedic surgeon with an emphasis in sports medicine. Micaela Pribic, daughter of Michelle and Rayko Pribic of Buckley, was the recipient from White River High School. A strong academic student and Vice President of the National Honor Society, Micaela has taken 4 advanced placement classes and has a 3.67 GPA. Her volunteer experience includes Key Club, Village Tutors and with Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. Micaela plans to attend Western Washington University next fall as a pre-med student with an interest in molecular biology.

Atira Hill, daughter of Rhonda and Glenn Hill of Enumclaw, was the recipient from White River Alternative and the Choice Program. A 3.85 student, Atira has also been a Running Start student at Green River Community College and will graduate with her Associate Degree this spring with a Certificate in Communications. Atira hopes to attend a four year school in the future and has interest in both journalism and culinary arts.
