Enumclaw Boy, 4, Seriously Injured In SR 169 Crash
The crash happened around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday north of downtown Enumclaw near Bass Lake, according to state patrol.

ENUMCLAW, WA - A 4-year-old Enumclaw boy was seriously injured in a multi-car crash along SR 169 this morning. Washington State Patrol is reporting that the driver of the car the boy was riding in might have been speeding.
The crash happened around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday north of downtown Enumclaw near Bass Lake, according to state patrol. Sandra Swenby, 66, of Enumclaw, was driving northbound near 383rd Street when she slowed down for stopped traffic. Kassandra Silveria, 26, of Enumclaw, allegedly didn't see Swenby's stopped car. Silveria rear-ended Swenby, and then Silveria's Honda Fit spun into the southbound lanes.
Jerry Gibson, 54, of Silverdale, was driving a semitrailer southbound and hit Silveria's car.

Silveria and the 4-year-old were both taken to Harborview Medical Center. The boy was taken by helicopter, and Silveria by ambulance. Gibson and Swenby were not injured.
Washington State Patrol reported "speed and inattentiveness" were factors in the crash.
