Shoplifting, Noise and Animal Complaints in July 6 to July 8 Blotter

Friday, July 6
Shoplifting: Police arrested a woman for shoplifting after a theft was reported at 12:31 a.m. at the Circle K on the 2400 block of Griffin Avenue. She had taken three cans of Four Loko.
Sparkler Bomb: Police responded to a report at 1:47 p.m. that there was a possible sparkler bomb on the side of the road on State Route 410 near Warner Avenue. Washington State Patrol officials confirmed it had already gone off and the remnants were destroyed.

Accident: Police assisted King County Sheriff's Office with a two-car injury accident on Alpine Place at 6:48 p.m.

Shoplifting: Police arrested two subjects for theft and minor in possession after they were seen running from a store on the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue at 1:34 a.m. They were found to have stolen several items from the store and were trespassed as well.
Police received a report at 12:54 p.m. that a woman was seen leaving QFC with a bottle under her sweatshirt. The citizen who reported the observation would be giving her a ride home since she appeared impaired. An officer contacted the store and indicated there might have been a theft; management would review tapes to confirm and pursue chargnes.
Animal Complaint: Police received a report at 11:01 a.m. that a citizen had been bitten by a dog on the 200 block of Grand Fir Drive. The bit did not break skin; the owner and Animal Control responded and the dog was released to the owner.
Police responded at 12:46 p.m. to a report that pit bull puppies were at a residence on the 200 block of Noble Fir Circle. The family at the residence were moving and were issued a warning by Animal Control that they had seven days to move the put bulls out of city limits.
Domestic Disturbance: Police received a report at 2:19 p.m. that a domestic incident may have occurred in a vehicle, which was parked in front of the police station. The incident was found to be physical but having occurred in King County jurisdiction; the Sheriff's Office was advised and responded to take a report.
Noise: Police received a complaint of loud music coming from a business on the 1500 block of Railroad Street at 9:42 p.m. The responding officer found the doors were open and the music was too loud; they asked to close the door and reduce noise level to acceptable levels.
Police received a noise complaint at 11:50 p.m. of loud music/live band and people out in the street. The responding officer asked subjects to keep it down and the band was done for the night.
Sunday, July 8
Trespassing: A subject was trespassed from QFC at 1:08 a.m. for prior shoplifting offense at the business.
Police received a request for extra patrol at a vacant rental residence on the 1200 block of Harding Street dur to ongoing nightly trespassing on the property.
DUI: One person was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at Warner Avenue at 2:10 a.m.
Accident: Police responded to a two-vehicle minor injury accident on the 42800 block of 264th Avenue SE at 12:17 p.m.
Juveniles: Police arrested one teen who was seen pushing a shopping cart eastbound on State Route 410 at 12:40 p.m. for obstruction due to providing false information to police. The responding officer also located property found with the two teens and returned to the owner's property.
