Ticket Scalpers and Gas Siphoning Theft in July 18 Blotter

Gas Theft: Gas was reportedly removed from four vehicles parked in an apartment complex on Battersby Avenue at 12:03 a.m.

Scalpers: A subject was reportedly selling tickets to Creationfest, according to the Courier-Herald, in a parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue at 1:18 p.m. He was associated with an older model white pick up truck with Utah license plates and was warned to stop unless he had a city business license.

Juveniles were seeing selling tickets to Creationfest in a parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue at 2:37 p.m. They were, likewise, warned to stop.

Cat Trap Stolen: Police contacted a resident on Hunter Court at 3:14 p.m. regarding the theft of a cat trap that had been placed at a foreclosed residence in Mountain Meadows. It was described as a two-door cat trap valued at $80.

Vehicle Prowl: Extra patrol was requested for the area of Kibler Avenue at 4:13 p.m. due to a vehicle having been prowled the night before. Nothing was taken.

Runaway: Police took a report of a runaway juvenile at an address on Paramount Drive at 3:54 p.m.

Sneaking In: Police responded to a report that two people may have crawled over the fence at Enumclaw Stadium at 6:53 p.m. to access Creationfest. No one was found but a gate in the area had not been secured.
