What appears to be the same trio of armed robbers who struck
four times last week robbed an AM-PM in Covington today.
Money and cigarettes were taken, but the robbers fled when a
customer came into the store. The robbery occurred at 4:35 a.m. at 17450 SE 272nd St., a King County Sheriff’s Department news release says.
Similar to the robberies last week, the three were wearing coats and face masks, and at least one carried a pistol. Other robberies attributed to the same robbers include two in Federal Way last Monday, and two in Maple Valley on Wednesday. There were also robberies in Bothell and Tukwila Sunday night that have yet to be linked to the trio.
