Two break-ins, Middle School Trespassers and Jail Wall Damaged in June 1 through 3, June 5 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Friday, June 1 through Sunday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 5.

Friday, June 1

Property Damage: Police received a report at 11:34 a.m. that someone had cut the lines in the motor of a vehicle on Mountain Villa Drive and caused the motor to blow up.

Shoplifting: A woman was arrested for theft after police responded to a business on Roosevelt Avenue at 6:21 p.m. Both she and her male companion were also trespassed from that business.

Public Urination: Police responded to a report at 8:53 p.m. that someone had uriniated on the porch of a residence on Fredricksen Street. The subject was gone upon police arrival.

Saturday, June 2

Threats: Police received a report at 6:18 p.m. that a resident on Wallace Avenue was threatened by a group that she had given permission to to take some flowers from her yard. She reportedly asked them not to destroy her plans in the process but a male subject then threatened to harm her. The group was located and counseled and the matter was settled.

Sunday, June 3

Assault: Police responded to a report of an assault at 2:07 a.m. from a business on Railroad Street. The man had facial injuries but refused aid and left on foot. He was very intoxicated.

Breaking In: Police responded to a possible burglary at a home on Rincon Avenue at 3:16 p.m. They found entry was gained but nothing was disturbed or taken. There were no suspects.

Police received a report at 4:33 p.m. that a burglary had occurred at a residence on Cottonwood Drive. Miscellaneous jewelry items were reportedly taken.

Tuesday, June 5

Shotgun Shell: Police received a report at 4:45 a.m. that a shotgun shell was found on the semi truck of the reporting party. The incident is believed to be tied to an ongoing issue with harassment and/or threats.

Traffic Arrest: One man was arrested following a traffic stop on Porter Street at Myrtle Avenue at 6:52 a.m. for violation of a domestic violence court order, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI following a one car accident on the 3000 block of Porter Street at 9:37 a.m.

Harassment: Two people were reportedly on Enumclaw Middle School property harassing students and teachers at 11:13 a.m. Police trespassed both from the property.

Jail Damage: Corrections staff at the city jail noted damage to a wall in the holding cell. The suspect was located and would be charged with the damage.
