Two Car Versus Bike Accidents, a Vehicle Prowl and DUI in Sept. 23 Blotter

DUI: One person was arrested for DUI and reckless endangerment on SR 410 at S.E. Mud Mountain Road at 1:12 a.m.

Vehicle Prowl: Two items were taken from a vehicle parked on the 1900 block of Highpoint Street overnight. There was no damage to the vehicle.

Bike Vs. Car: A patient was taken to Auburn Regional Hospital for injuries following a car vs. bike accident on Griffin Avenue at Railroad Street at 2:45 p.m.

Car Vs. Bike Hit and Run: A cyclist sustained a minor knee injury from being knocked off their bike after a white van with its headlights off hit the rear tire of the bike on Watson Street at Dickson Avenue at 10:21 p.m. The van left the scene without stopping.
