Two Fights are Reported, a Stolen Gun is Identified, and a Stolen Vehicle was Recovered Over the Holiday Weekend

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Wednesday, Nov. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 27.

Wednesday, November 23

Theft: Police received a report at 4:27 p.m. that a Wii console and Wii Fit were stolen from a property on Chinook Avenue.

Juveniles: One juvenile was arrested for harassment and a second for minor in posession after police responded to a report of a possible fight in a parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue at 10:43 p.m.

Thursday, November 24

Speeders Beware: Extra patrol has been requested for the area of Watson Street at Dickson Avenue for speeders.

Friday, November 25

Hit and Run w/ Parked Vehicle: Police received a report at 9:15 a.m. that a vehicle parked on Hillcrest Avenue was hit sometime between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and that morning.

Stolen Gun Identified: Police located a stolen gun on a pistol transfer application and the weapon was obtained from a dealer on Cole Street at 2:46 p.m.

Saturday, November 26

Vehicle Stolen, Recovered: Police received a report that a black 2007 Chevy Suburban was stolen from Phillips Avenue overnight. A purse was also inside the vehicle. The vehicle was recovered on McDougall Avenue. A second vehicle in the same driveway, a 2010 Chevy pick up truck, was broken into. There were no obvious damages to the stolen vehicle.

Sunday, November 27

Shoplifting: Police responded to a report of shoplifting at a business on Roosevelt Avenue at 2:22 a.m. The suspect was cited and released for third-degree theft.

Assault: Police followed up on a report of a fight between two men at a house at the end of the cul de sac on Natalie Place at 2:19 p.m. The victim reportedly left the area and the suspect returned to his home; he told police the fight was over stolen money.

Police and aid responded to a fight that occurred in the alley behind the Lee Hotel at 9:08 p.m. The suspects were unknown but the victims were treated for their injuries on scene. They declined to assist with investigation or prosecution.
