Two Fights, Women Arrested in Noise Complaint and Good Samaritan Returns Lost Cell Phone in July 24 Blotter

Good Samaritan: A citizen picked up a ringing cell phone at Montgomery Park at 12:22 p.m. and told the caller/owner he'd leave it at the police station. The owner picked it up later in the day.

Assault/Fight: Police responded to what was reported as a domestic altercation between a man and woman at a residence on Battersby Avenue at Cole Street at 4:58 p.m. Upon arrival they deteremined a fight had occurred between two men but the victim was hesitant to make a statement and has not yet pressed charges.

Police responded to a report of a fight on Fell Street at 9:59 p.m. The situation was handled on contact and one party was picked up by a friend.

Noise Complaint: Two women were arrested after becoming combative with an officer at 11:55 p.m. on Wells Street at Battersby Avenue. The officer was responding to a noise complaint when he made contact with the women, who had been drinking.
