Unauthorized Salespeople, Theft from Search and Rescue Trailer and a Stolen Vehicle in April 30 through May 2 Blotter

Monday, April 30

Puyallup Church Burglary: An Enumclaw police detective assisted in the response to a church burglary in Puyallup at 6:37 a.m. Two suspects were taken into custody.

Assault: Police received a report from a woman at 6:46 a.m. that her juvenile son was assaulted Saturday night in connection with a location on 284th Avenue S.E.

Vehicle Stolen: A white 2002 Chevy Express van was reported stolen at 7:06 a.m. from a location on Roosevelt Avenue.

Emergency Assist: Police assisted Enumclaw fire with an emergency response at 2:08 p.m. at a location on Chinook Avenue.

Door-to-door Sales: Two men were seen headed west on Wallace from Carley Place at 4:52 p.m. selling door-to-door. Police attempted to reach them and inform them of city ordinances but were unable to locate.

Sales without License: Police responded to a report at 5:36 p.m. of two men acting suspiciously in the area of Almadon Avenue and Spring Street. They were found to be selling without a license and advised of city ordinances. They would be leaving the area.

Tuesday, May 1

Warrant: Police attempted to located a subject with a warrant at a location on S.E. Mud Mountain Road at 9:52 a.m. but were unsuccessful.

Malicious Mischief: Police took a report at 9:55 a.m. of damage to a vehicle that was parked at a location on Cole Street.

Accident: Police responded to a two-car non-injury accident at 10:23 a.m. on Stevenson Avenue at Wells Street.

Noise: Police received a loud stereo complaint at 7:11 p.m. at a location on Griffin Avenue. They advised the subjects to quiet down.

Police recevied a loud music complaint at The Crystal Saloon at 11:30 p.m. The soundproof shutters were up but the door was open; management agreed to close the door and watch the noise level.

Wednesday, May 2

Court Remand: A suspect was in custody as of 2:59 p.m. for violation of court-ordered conditions of release, specifically wearing a GPS monitoring bracelet. Information about the violation was initially received at 12:52 a.m.

Theft: The theft of a camera and GPS unit was reported at 1:23 p.m. at a residence on Marion Street.

Soliciting: Police contacted solicitors going door-to-door on Jewell Street at 1:30 p.m. They were advised of city ordinances and were leaving the area.

Burglary: Police received a burglary report at 1:38 p.m. from a property on the 400 block of Roosevelt Avenue. The lot was broken into and items were stolen from a search and rescue trailer.

Domestic Dispute: Police responded to a location on Myrtine Street at 5:10 p.m. for a possible domestic dispute. They deteremined the incident took place in county jurisdiction and subjects were advised to contact King County Sheriff's Office.

Police responded to a verbal domestic dispute at a location on Griffin Avenue at 6:29 p.m.

Prescription Forgery: One person was arrested and booked for prescription forgery at 7:24 p.m. from a business on Garrett Street.
