Unlocked Vehicles Prowled During Church, Business Burglarized and School Vandalism in April 16 and April 17 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17.

Monday, April 16

Traffic Hazard: Police received a report at 4:09 a.m. that 'caution' tape was placed around stop signs at Kibler Avenue and Harding Street. An officer checked the area and found no hazard; the tape was removed.

Noise: Police received a loud music complaint at 4:16 a.m. on the 2100 block of Porter Street. The responding officer asked the responsible resident to turn it down and they did.

One person with a warrant out of Bothell was arrested after police responded to a noise complaint at a property on the 1100 block of Griffin Avenue at 10:44 p.m.

Vandalism Patrols: Extra patrol was requested for Kibler Elementary on the weekends due to recent vandalism.

Domestic Dispute: Police responded to a report of a physical domestic incident at a location on Myrtine Street at 9:04 a.m. They found no evidence of a physical altercation and found it was verbal only.

Vehicles Prowled: Three unlocked cars parked in the alleyway on the 1800 block of Wells Street were reportedly prowled during daytime church services on Sunday, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Items stolen include loose change, a car charger, sunglasses and a tape recorder.

Traffic Assist: Police assisted Enumclaw Fire and Washington State Patrol with a two-car head on collision at 2:59 p.m. on State Route 164 at 236th Avenue S.E.

Burglary: Police received a report at 4:11 p.m. that a burglary occurred at a vacant business on Watson Street. The responding officer took a burglary and arson report; the owner requested extra patrol.

Tuesday, April 17

Suspicious Circumstances: Police received a report at 11:35 a.m. of minor damage found near a window of a residence on the 2400 block of S.E. 448th Street. It could have been an attempted break-in and it's unclear when the damage occurred. No entry was made and there was nothing stolen.

Theft: Police took a theft report at 4:02 p.m. related to a report of property stolen while the victim was at a local establishment on Railroad Street.

Traffic Accident: Police responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Blake Street at Roosevelt Avenue at 4:52 p.m.

Domestic Dispute: Police responded to a verbal-only domestic dispute at a location on Summer Place at 9:36 p.m.
