The pow wow had plenty of dancing as well a raffle, American Indian arts and craft vendors and crowning of the new 2011-12 pow wow royalty.

The 2010-2011 royalty Lily Lewis and Jake Rodrigues handed over their title to Grace Redd and Sam Miller during the pow wow. Redd and Miller will serve as the 2011-2012 Enumclaw School District Pow Wow royalty.

The pow wow is funded through charity grant monies from the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, said Cathy Calvert, Enumclaw School District Native American program coordinator.

"We like to offer this (the pow wow) to the Muckleshoot community, a neighboring community and it brings a lot of people up," Calvert said.
