Monday, April 25– Unanimously adopted a motion requesting Metro Transit transmit an implementation plan for achieving a carbon neutral or zero emissions fleet (Substitute motion 2016-0200.2).

Approved an ordinance placing a 4-month moratorium on marijuana producers, processors and retailers in Unincorporated King County (Ordinance 2016-0234).

Unanimously approved a motion approving a report related to the King County sheriff’s office domestic violence investigation and intervention unit in accordance with the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance (Motion 2016-0185).

Unanimously approved a motion requesting the executive to develop and submit for council review and acceptance a report on the status and options for sustainable continuation of the department of adult and juvenile detention dedicated veteran housing pilot and veterans‑focused programming at the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center and to request a supplemental appropriation to support such pilot and programming (Substitute Motion 2016-0198.2).
