• Where/When: 6 p.m. Sat, April 23 at .
• Why Go: This Saturday is Brew Night at the Mint. Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB Brewery) out of Portland will be on site with their large selection of organic beers. Stop by and try the HUB Lager, it was named the “Best Draft Beer in the World” by Men’s Journal magazine in 2010.
• Pricing: No cover. 

• Where/When: 7:30 p.m. Friday - Saturday at White River Performing Arts Center in Buckley.
• Why Go: This is your last chance to catch Stage Door's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Make it out to the White River Performing Arts Center this weekend and watch this biblical saga come to life before it's too late. Can't make the 7:30 p.m. showings? Try the 2:30 p.m matinee on Saturday.
• Pricing: $15 General Admission, $10 Seniors/Students. Save $2 on your tickets by ordering in advance on-line.

• Where/When: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Sat, April 23 at the Lake Wilderness Arboretum Nursery in Maple Valley.
• Why Go: Interested in learning how to grow your own tomatoes this season? Or, maybe you're just in need of a few tips. Visit the Lake Wilderness Arboretum Nursery this Saturday and get the scoop on everything you need to know about growing tomatoes. The class will cover varieties, planting seeds, transplanting, planting in ground vs containers, fertilizing, staking, watering, pruning, problems and diseases.

Puyallup Farmers Market

• Where/When: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sat, April 23 at Pioneer Park and the Pioneer Park Pavilion in downtown Puyallup.
• Why Go: Dispite Enumclaw's large farming community, there really isn't a good option for fresh local produce. Both the Plateau Saturday Market in Buckley and the Maple Valley Farmers Market won't open until later this Summer. So until then, the Puyallup Farmers Market may be your best bet for all your locally grown favorites. 
• Pricing: Admission is free.

• Where/When: 6 p.m. Sat, April 23 at Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma.
• Why Go: Looking for a little excitement this weekend? A night of Mixed Martial Arts action might be just what you need. The fight card for CageSport XIV is stacked, 10 fights in total, including two championship bouts. Not exactly sure what Mixed Martial Arts is all about? Thishighlight video from YouTube should help you figure it out. (Note: Some scenes are graphic.)
