- Why Go: This Saturday is Brew Night at the Mint. Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB Brewery) out of Portland will be on site with their large selection of organic beers. Stop by and try the HUBΒ Lager, it was named the βBest Draft Beer in the Worldβ byΒ Menβs JournalΒ magazine in 2010.

- Why Go: Interested in learning how to grow your own tomatoes this season? Or, maybe you're just in need of a few tips. Visit the Lake Wilderness Arboretum Nursery this Saturday and get the scoop on everything you need to know about growing tomatoes. The class will coverΒ varieties, planting seeds, transplanting, planting in ground vs containers, fertilizing, staking, watering, pruning, problems and diseases.Β

So until then, the Puyallup Farmers Market may be your best bet for all your locally grown favorites.Β
