Rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue this morning and taper in the afternoon.

The National Weather Service expects that showers and thunderstorms will continue through the morning in Enumclaw. (Ed Note: It's more monsoon-like rain down here on Cole Street, so come prepared!) A forecast discussion from 9 a.m. Friday indicated both are expected to taper this afternoon and highs will struggle to reach 70 degrees.
