Across from The Courier-Herald offices and next to stands this lot that, as the sign says, is currently for sale.
Whereas Sears once stood in this corner on Cole Street, a fire more than 10 years ago destroyed the building.
Since then, its property owners have invested time and money into cleaning it up and turning it into a gravel lot that these days appears to be used for parking. And this past summer, the City of Enumclaw weighed the possibility of purchasing the property and turning it into a public park; it was .
