When and Where Are the July 4th Celebrations Going Down in Enumclaw?
Flyers for the 12th Annual Stars & Stripes celebration in Enumclaw are all over town but in case you missed it, here's what you need to know to make sure you catch all the festivities today.
The prospect of not even having a Fourth of July celebration in Enumclaw this year before local groups and businesses to ensure that the 12th Annual Stars and Stripes celebration was a go.
You're not going to let all of their hard work and investment in the community go to waste on this our Independence Day, are you? Of course not!
So come on down to Cole Street -- and bring the whole family -- by noon today and take in the festive community parade (). If you've got kids who want to join in the parade, make sure they decorate their bikes at home and then meet in the parade staging area along Railroad Street by the library by 11:45 a.m.

By the looks of it, there will be close to 50 groups taking part in the parade including VFW Post 1949, as the parade Grand Marshal, Congressman Dave Reichert, the Enumclaw High School Marching Band, John Urquhart for King County Sheriff, Relay for Life of Enumclaw, Gateway Concert Band, Chinook Little League and lots more.
Then later tonight, pack the picnics, lawn chairs and blankets and head over to the Southwood Soccer Fields for the city's official fireworks display. The show was moved from the Expo Center due to the presence of . The fireworks start at 9:45 p.m.

Remember that no personal fireworks will be permitted at the soccer fields during the show.
