Woman Pushed from Moving Vehicle, Multiple Vehicle Prowls and a Possible Pit Bull Round out Weekend Police Blotter

Saturday, Dec. 10
Disturbance: Police made contact with subjects related to a reported disturbance on Railroad Street at 12:34 a.m. The situation was settled for the most part -- one man was advised if he wanted to pursue the matter to contact police when he was sober.
Vehicle Prowl: A woman reported seeing someone trying to break into her vehicle on Porter Street at 2:58 a.m. The person was seen fleeing on foot; nothing was taken or damaged.

Cry for Help: Police received a notice from King County of a reporting party who said they were walking by a neighborhood across from Thunder Mountain Middle School at 2:43 p.m. when they heard a female yelling for help. Officers checked several residences in the area but turned up nothing.
Pushed from Moving Vehicle: A woman was reportedly pushed out of a moving vehicle at 5:58 p.m. on Griffin Avenue at Pioneer Street. She was taken to St. Elizabeth for her injuries and the suspect was located and arrested for third-degree assault domestic violence.

Sunday, Dec. 11
Vehicle Prowl: Police took a report that several items were stolen from a vehicle on Roosevelt Avenue overnight, including two chainsaws, a drill set and some clothing. There was also damage to the tool boxes.
Police responded to a report of a vehicle prowl on Griffin Avenue at 6:25 p.m. and spoke with both the victim, who declined to press charges, and the suspect who was looking in the bed of the truck but didn't access the cab. There was nothing damaged or stolen.
Animal Complaint: Police responded to a complaint at 11:16 a.m. of an alleged pit bull living at a residence on Lincoln Avenue. The owner said it was a mixed breed rescue animal. Police have referred the case to King County Animal Control for follow up to determine if the dog's breed violates city code.
Disturbance: Police responded to a report of a verbal disturbance at a property on McHugh Place at 1:25 p.m. and found it was a trespass issue. The resident was advised on how to obtain a restraining or trespass order.
Monday, Dec. 12
Malicious Mischief: A vehicle on Semanski Street was reported damaged at 3:02 p.m.
