Woman Shoved, Held At Gunpoint During Robbery Along SR 410 Near Enumclaw

State police are looking for witnesses to the incident, which took place at night along SR 410.

ENUMCLAW, WA - State police are searching for witnesses to a scary robbery that occurred along SR 410 near Enumclaw last month. A woman was robbed of her phone and purse while stopped at a scenic spot outside of Enumclaw. Another woman who tried to intervene in the robbery was pushed to the ground and held at gunpoint.

The robbery happened close to 9 p.m. on April 23 along SR 410 near milepost 38, a rural area close to Federation Forest State Park. According to state police, three men pulled up in a blue pickup truck and began posing and taking pictures with guns.

One of the men approached a woman who was parked at the turnout and asked to use her phone. The woman declined, but the man kept asking. Then, another vehicle pulled up with a family inside. A woman in that vehicle tried to brush the man away by telling him that there was no service, and that a cell phone wouldn't work.

Then, he got violent.

The man snatched the phone out of the woman's hand and told her he would keep the phone. He then reached inside her car and took her purse. When the woman from the second car tried to stop him, he pulled out a gun and shoved her to the ground.

The men then got into the blue pickup and drove off toward Enumclaw.
