Woman with Memory Loss in Portand and Car Hits Building in Dec. 19 Police Blotter

Car in Ditch: Police responded to a report and confirmed a vehicle in a ditch on Battersby Avenue at Cole Street at 5:15 a.m. As the vehicle was in the county jurisdiction, the responding officer left a message with the owner -- it was not a hazard at the time.

Out of Control Youth: Police responded to a report of an out of control juvenile at a property on Watson Street North at 6:54 a.m. The matter was settled and the juvenile agreed to calm down.

Assisting Portland PD: Police were contacted by Portland police at 8:34 a.m. about a woman found disoriented with total memory loss. Papers she had on her indicated she was connected with an address on Kibler Avenue. Enumclaw police contacted the homeowner who said she might be a distant relative but they haven't been in contact for years. The husband would try and assist.

Lost ID: Police have a report of a lost picture ID in the area of Monroe Avenue at Stevenson Street from the day before. It belongs to an individual with an Indiana birth certificate.

Car vs. Building: A car vs. building accident was reported on Cole Street at 12:57 p.m. The female driver was still in the vehicle at the time; she was treated by emergency personnel and taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Code enforcement has been advised of building damage.

Taking Pictures: Police received a report of a suspicious white Dodge Durango in the area of Natalie Place at 3:20 p.m. where someone was taking pictures of homes. Police were unable to locate.

Noise: Police received a noise complaint at a property on Griffin Avenue at 10:32 p.m. involving loud music and voices. Officers made contact and the music was turned down.

Self-Inflicted Cuts: Police received a report of someone with self-inflicted cuts to the wrist headed toward St. Elizabeth Hospital at 11:14 p.m. The incident reportedly happened in Buckley and was referred to Buckley PD.
