• WA state Senate primary separated by 4 votes, set for recount (whatcom-news.com) — Ferndale voters are part of an incredibly tight 42nd District state Senate primary, where just four votes currently separate Democrats Michael Shepard and Eamonn Collins for a spot on the November ballot. A hand recount next week will determine who faces Republican Erika Creydt, with recent results showing the district, including Ferndale, leaning slightly Democratic overall.

- I'm in need of someone to do some interior painting touch-ups, a little bit of filling on door jams, etc.
