1 Injured In Thursday Gig Harbor House Fire
The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. Thursday at a home in the Crescent Valley area, according to fire officials.

GIG HARBOR, WA - One person was injured in a kitchen fire early Thursday morning. Gig Harbor Fire responded to the blaze around 5:30 a.m. in the Crescent Valley area north of the downtown area.
The fire did did not spread outside of the kitchen, but the fire department said the home sustained smoke damage. Firefighters used power fans to clear the smoke out of the home.
The person who went to the hospital had non-life threatening injuries, according to the fire department, and two other people who were home at the time of the fire were not injured.
