Master Builders Association of King &
Snohomish Counties (MBA), http://masterbuildersinfo.com, in
conjunction with Puget Sound Energy, presents the 2014 Housing
Summit with a line-up of top housing and real estate professionals sharing
their expertise on the housing market and the shortage of buildable land. “Accommodating Housing Needs with Less
Land” is the theme for the half-day event, which is free of charge.
The Housing Summit will explore
how best to forge a path forward and meet Growth Management Act housing targets
as the Puget Sound area faces a diminishing buildable land supply.

Featured speakers include David Crowe, Chief Economist and Senior Vice
President, National Association of Home Builders
(NAHB); Todd Britsch, President
of New Home Trends; Nancy Bainbridge Rogers, Land Use Attorney,
Cairncross
& Hempelmann; and a panel
discussion with state legislators, homebuilders and other housing experts
focusing on legislative solutions and helping to form the basis of next steps
for the industry.
David Crowe is responsible for NAHB’s forecast of
housing and economic trends, survey research and analysis of the home building
industry, and consumer preferences as well as microeconomic analysis of
government policies that affect housing. He also develops and implements
innovative models of the local economic impact and fiscal cost of new home
construction.

Todd Britsch
has worked with
countless industry professionals to better understand the housing market. Todd
is a frequent speaker on the trends of new construction housing for many home
building associations and financial institutions.
Nancy Bainbridge Rogers
has significant
experience applying local codes throughout Washington, as well as with all of
the important State statutes affecting land use. Nancy’s core clients are real
estate developers and land owners. She works with clients and their consultant
teams to obtain permits and approvals efficiently.
