• What's happening by the Tides Tavern? Here's what the project means for parking (thenewstribune.com) — Parking will be tighter near Tides Tavern as Gig Harbor closes several Maritime Pier stalls and through-access through about Sept. 18 to replace an eroding stormwater outfall. The work also ties into the city's new commercial fishing homeport at Ancich Waterfront Park, with in-water construction expected this winter and only minimal traffic delays anticipated.
